A Green Garden Lizard or Pala Katussa in Sinhalese changing its colour when threatened in the hills of Kadugannawa 99 kilometres from Colombo, Sri lanka, 22 May 2014. Common among home gardens as well in shrub jungles island-wide its green acts as camouflage among the foliage. When threatened or agitated it changes colour around its upper body. It is mostly left unharmed by humans.
