Lewis Carroll is most famous for his story, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, published in 1865. It was written for Alice, the daughter of a friend.
His other writings included the sequel 'Through the Looking-Glass' as well as the poems "The Hunting of the Snark" and "Jabberwocky".Lewis Carroll was born Charles Lutwidge Dodgson at Daresbury in Chesire, on 27 January 1832. He was an English author, mathematician, logician, anglican deacon and photographer.
