Schools are open for 195 days each school year. English schools have six terms separated by holidays (vacations)
Their main school holidays are:
Christmas 2 weeks.
Spring 2 weeks.
Summer (end of July and the whole of August) 6 weeks.
The new school year starts at the beginning of September,at the end of summer vacations.
